Scholarship Info

Purpose:

Camp Good News Kauai exists to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the keiki of Kauai. We are thankful to do so on a beautiful campus while enjoying many traditional summer camp fun activities.

We do understand that finances can sometimes be a hindrance to attending camp. Christ commands in Mark 10:14 “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God” (ESV) so we have made it a priority to have scholarships available.

Details:

Scholarships are determined on an individual basis based on financial need and funds available. The financial aid form will help us determine each child’s level of need. There are often several keiki who need scholarships so we ask each family to cover their fee as much as they can toward the cost of camp. The more you can contribute, the more keiki we can help attend camp.

Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applying:

If your child would not be able to attend camp without financial help and is in need of a scholarship, please fill out the scholarship application. When applications have been reviewed, we will email you the details of the amount your child is eligible for along with next steps for registration and payment.
